Men aged 18 or over, in good health, with competitive playing experience at high school, university or club level.

We are building a new club in Kyoto to compete on the world stage, and this tryout was the first step. It was held on Wednesday 26 August 2026 at the Kyoto Municipal Sports Hall. We received 46 applications and 38 players took part. Thank you to everyone who applied. You can read about the day in the NEWS section of this site.

Skills assessment (fundamentals and game play), physical testing, and an interview.

Who we are looking for
Players who share our goal of entering the V.LEAGUE in the 2027-28 season and are ready to fight for it from the ground up. Beyond technique, we value people who care about fans and the local community and who want to take ownership of building a club from day one.

- ②Physical and playing data (current club, position, height, weight, maximum reach and more)
- ③Playing history (schools, results, representative honours, strengths, injury history)
- ④Motivation and personal statement
- ⑤A head-and-shoulders photograph
